Reservoir Dogs Review
Okay, I'm excited to do this review. This review is going to be on the 1992 independent crime-thriller "Reservoir Dogs"
This was Quentin Tarantino's feature film debut and it didn't get too much attention during its release in the United States due to poor promotion and it only getting a small release in theaters after being screened at film festivals throughout 1992.
After the huge success of Tarantino's next film "Pulp Fiction" this has received massive acclaim and is now considered by many as one of the greatest independent films ever made.
The movie was produced on an extremely low budget and Tarantino originally intended it to be a short black & white film before getting enough money to make it a full film.
Well, that's enough of the history of the film for now. On to the review! The movie starts off with eight guys having breakfast and they're planning out a big diamond heist!
Six of the men go by aliases, including: Mr. Brown, Mr. Blue, Mr. Orange, Mr. Blonde and Mr. Pink. The others are mobboss Joe Cabot and his son and underboss Eddie.
The introduction scene goes on for awhile before the opening credits began and I feel the scene has some pretty funny dialog and it's a good way to introduce you to the main and side characters you see throughout the film.
Now we go into probably the most awesome and epic opining credit sequences I've ever seen in a film. All eight characters walk past the truck in slow motion and the song "Little Green Bag" plays. This scene has been referenced allot such as in the "Jimmy Neutron" episode "Send In The Clones" and the Simpsons episode "Jazzy and the Pussycats" it is a powerful sequence that really gets you pumped up for the movie.
The film then cuts to Orange screaming in pain from being shot in the stomach and White drives him to a warehouse where he is through the rest of the movie, dying slowly in a pool of blood.
Mr. Pink then shows up. I absolutely loved Mr. Pink, every scene in this movie he's in is just epic and funny. He basically has a huge fight with white about taking Orange to the hospital or not, and they pull guns out on each other.
Mr. Blonde shows up, he apparently is a psychotic loon and kills and torturers others for his own enjoyment. I mean he holds a cop hostage and they all three then beat the crap out of him.
This is a really violent film. It includes a pretty graphic torture sequence where Blond tries to set the police officer Nash on fire.
Orange, who somehow is still alive shoots the crazy ass bastard, dead, and he and Nash are both alone suffering.
This movie goes into allot of flashbacks that explain some of the events before the Diamond heist, we see how Orange was shot as well as how Mr. Pink got his name. I won't talk too much about that scene, but it is really funny.
Eddie, Pink and White return to the warehouse,Orange tries to tell them the truth that Blonde was insane and planning to kill them all and take the diamonds to himself.
Eddie is an idiot and thinks that crazy asshole Blonde was actually a true friend.
Joe then arrives and attempts to kill Orange. White pulls out a gun to him, which leads Eddie to point a gun to him, we then get a Mexican standoff, which is actually freaking awesome and leads a great climax. Joe and Eddie both die from gunshots.
Mr. Pink takes the diamonds to himself and gets out, Orange confesses he was a police officer under cover, and the fuzz comes in and shoots White. I already spoiled enough as it is, so I'm not gonna give away too much of the ending.
So, there is Reservoir Dogs, and what did I think about it?? It was freaking outstanding!!!
I loved every minute of this film. It had tons of great dialog, witty him at and a great soundtrack of '70s music.
I heavily recommend you check this film out if you haven't seen it. I wouldn't recommend it to kids under the age of Fifteen at least, or people who get offended by allot of cursing, this movie has allot of heavy cursing, but it's honestly so awesome and good I don't think people would even care about all the F-bombs.
I would say this is in my top five favorite films! It's truly a masterpiece and an epic classic. Reservoir Dogs gets five stars from me. Make that five gold stars!

The Boxtrolls Review
I'm finally ready for another. This one going to be on the 2014 stop motion film from Laika 'The Boxtrolls' directed by Anthony Stacchi, and Graham Annabelle, and based on 'Here Come The Monsters' by Alen Snow.
It's a Stop Motion animated film, and I have to say it is really nice to see some stop motion films each year, with how much computer animation is in theaters these days. Stop Motion is such incredible form of filmmaking that takes extreme effort and allot of time! It's also rated PG, like most animated films these days, but there was really one joke that I think earned it the PG rating, that and one of the characters is pretty scary looking.
M So the film takes place in a town called Cheesebridge, in the late 1800s I believe. These trolls known as the Boxtrolls are hated by the town and they out underground.
They take in a human boy named Eggs and they raise him. He grows older thinking he is a Boxtroll, not knowing he's a boy.
Eggs meets a human girl, who he befriends named Winnie, voiced by Elle Fanning. I really like her character. I mean, she can be a brat, but can also be kind and intelligent. I enjoy her friendship with Eggs in the film and how she helps him realize he's not a boxtroll.
The film's plot in ways is similar to Tarzan, they even have a scene where Winnie puts her hand to Eggs, which is indeed a reference to Tarzan.
I really enjoy the part of the film where Eggs and Winnie go to the ball so Eggs can inform the town the truth about the boxtrolls. There's a really nice joke where Eggs scratches his crotch and Winnie tells him, "Don't do that in public. That's why they're called, privates."
I also think the scene of Eggs and Winnie dancing is really adorable.
I really love how touching the relationship between Eggs and The Boxtrolls, especially when they save during the end climax, and in the scene where Eggs is locked in a cage by the Snather and and he thinks The Boxtrolls were crushed to death, it's a really touching scene and you really feel connected to Eggs.
The end scene where the Boxtrolls save Eggs is a pretty good climax. I think it could have been just a bit longer.
It would have also been a little better if we got a few more minutes with the main characters before the end. It feels the film closes off a bit unexpected. I was still very happy with the ending.
The animation is extremely high quality, especially since there's allot of action scenes. It's hard to believe at times it's all stop motion, because some parts look like they had to have used a bit of CGI.
after the movie is over we go into a really nice montage during the credits with traditional animation.
There's even more after that! The crew of the film threw in a small Easter egg that shows one of animators animating a small part of the film. It is fantastic and it really makes you appreciate Stop Motion because it's just incredible how much hard work and effort goes into it, much more then Computer Animated films.
I also love the music in this film's soundtrack. Composed by Dario Marianelli.
There's not too much I can say I dislike about the movie. The Snacher could have been more interesting as a villain and I don't find him that threatening.
I think I would have enjoyed The Boxtrolls better if they were given dialog. It's not a bad thing though. I had trouble telling them apart though, like the Minions from "Despicable Me"
The Boxtrolls is fun and really creative movie that I think deserves a bit more appreciation. It's touching and has beautiful animation and a really good soundtrack, probably the best soundtrack I've heard for a Stop Motion movie. I'm really glad this film earned an academy nomination for Best Animated Feature, though I know some people are angry it got nominated over "The Lego Movie" I haven't seen that yet, but I'm gonna check that film out soon!
This is a really good movie. I definitely would put it on my favorite list. How don't know how much of a faithful adaptation this movie is to the novel it's based on as I haven't read it, but I still love this movie! I heavily recommend it, especially to those who want a break from all the CGI Features and want to see some fun and stunning stop motion. I have nothing against computer animation! There's some CGI animated films I absolutely love, but I really hope we see some 2D animation on the silver screen again in the future.

New Idea For Fan fiction, and updates on Reviews
I got a new idea for a fan fiction! It's going to be a story based on Lloyd Alexander's Chronicles Of Prydain book series. I'm also going include some of my original characters and settings from one of my original stories. I want to have my characters have a main part, but still keep the main focus on the characters from the novels.
I know I haven't posted another review yet, and I am still gonna do Inside Out, but I saw an animated film today The Boxtrolls that was so incredible I think I need to give that a review first!
I'm not sure if I'm gonna continue doing reviews however. I just don't think I have the heart for it anymore.
I had a fight and lost a friend who I known for almost two years and it hurt really bad ending our friendship, but I'm gonna try to talk to some new friends who I have a bit more in common with and can connect with better.

Annabelle Review
Today I'm going to be giving a review on the 2014 horror/supernatural film Annabelle directed by John R. Leonetti.
The film tells the story of a young couple John and Mia. They are expecting their first child soon.
Mia collects dolls and her husband gives her a horrifying doll that she had been trying to find. Even though the doll hasn't committed murders yet, it looks like it's already been through allot of bell.
So, this crazy girl and her boyfriend break in and they start attacking Mia and John. Because they were part of some death cult. I do feel this part could have been explains better. I mean, it comes right out of nowhere.
The girl who's name is Annabelle is holding the doll and she slashes her throat after her boyfriend is killed and her blood spills on the doll and it becomes haunted from that point.
Mia begins to notice weird things happening with the doll such as it moving by itself in the rocking chair. She feels frightened by it and ask John to throw it away.
The doll of course finds its way back in the house and starts a fire, and Kia starts getting haunted by the doll and we actually see the doll coming to live in one scene, but it's very quick.
That probably would be my big problem with the film. Annabelle is almost never seen alive on camera. Well, yeah, I can tell she's alive and she is scary and threatening, but I feel more scene with her actually shown alive and killing would have made the movie better.
John and Mia then contact a priest from the church and he picks up Annabelle and he's in for a not so pleasant surprise.
One character I must talk about who helps Mia in film and tells her Annabelle's sprite is after her daughter's soul is Evelyn. She's a character you do do really feel for her because her daughter got killed and it led to her trying to take her own life. It's pretty sad.
So the climax is with Mia alone in the bedroom, the house is haunted, she's fighting Annabelle, smacking her against the crib, begging her to stop, and desperately searching for her daughter.
She then realizes there's no other way, except to commit suicide and give her soul to Annabelle's ghost.
As Mia is holding Annabelle and getting ready to jump out the window, John and Evelyn rush in at the last minute to stop her.
Evelyn ends up giving her own life, which I have to admit is an emotional scene.
The couple then find their baby and a few mouths later Annabelle gets purchased at a store and the film ends with her in a doll cage, so maybe she'll get out, don't know.
This movie was pretty decent, but nothing great and some scenes did get just a bit boring and I think the doll could have gotten a bit more screen time and done a few murders, maybe.
Not a bad horror movie. I actually enjoyed it. It's not something I highly recommend, both your time won't be wasted with it.
Up next, I'm excited for the next review. It's going to be Pixar's Inside Out!

The Boy Who Cried Werewolf Review
Okay, so this time I'm going to review a Nickelodeon movie that premiered back in 2010 titled The Boy Who Cried Werewolf.
The film stars Victoria Justice as Jordan Sands, who is awkward and nerdy 17 year old, and she basically has a ruff life in school and is bullied by these two asshole girls.
She lives with her dad and her little brother and her mother passed away. The family visits to their Great Uncle's castle which they inherited in Wolfsburg.
They meet a really scary and weird housekeeper played by Brook Shields. There's also this Real Estate Agent named Paulina who starts dating Jordon and Hunter's father.
Jordan gets something caught in her foot while she and her brother are down in their Great Uncle's lab, after some bats scare them, which is a pretty cool sequence.
Jordan then slowly starts to transform into a werewolf by night and it's up to her brother Hunter to help cure her before it's too late.
We see Jordan slowly change throughout the movie, she can start seeing without her glasses, she becomes more confident and when she gets cursed you see her flipping like an acrobat as jumping heights. Overall I did enjoy her character. She's a party nice girl ended she really does care for her brother in the movie.
I also thought the Real Estate Agent was a good villain, I mean it's pretty cool how you don't expect her to be this crazy vampire because she seems like such a nice lady and she's so nice to the Kids. It comes off as a bit of a surprise.
I also enjoyed Hunter, Jordan's younger brother in this movie. He's a pretty smart kid, and you kinda can connect with him on what he's going through. I mean, think of scary it would be if one of your siblings turned into a werewolf...
Over all, this is pretty fun and enjoyable movie. I thought it was just okay first two times I watched it, but upon rewathing it I found myself enjoying it.
Victoria Justice does a pretty good performance, and her character in this movie differs from her characters in Zoey 101 and Victorious.
The climax was decent, but I think it could have been longer, and I didn't care much for Brook Shields' character.
Also, I found it weird that they chose the characters to sing a Britney Spears song in the end credits. I mean, it's oddly nostalgic for me to hear that, but a 90s song that's not even popular anymore seems a bit out of place for a Nickelodeon movie that aired in 2010, but I'm not really complaining about that.
It's pretty good for a TV movie. I'd say give it a watch if you see it reran on Nicktoons or Teen Nick. That's all I have to say for this review. Take care.

Fred 2: Night Of The Living Fred Review
Okay, time for another review, and I sure do have allot to say about this TV movie. You see, when Fred become the biggest internet star, which is probably the biggest mystery, Nickelodeon just had to bring him to the network in hopes it would boost their ratings. , Fred made an appearance on ICarly, then he got three movies and a tv series.
Well, I haven't seen the first Fred movie, but I saw this on Nicktoons Network The other day, and let's say it blew my mind by how bad it really was.
The basic start of the movie begins when Fred finds out his favorite teacher has been replaced by some weird ass man Mr. Delvin.
There is also a girl who likes Fred in the movie and he thinks she is stalking him. Talia her name is.
Fred and his mother get invited to a party at the teacher's house, and Fred start to suspect he's a vampire.
To talk a little about the characters, Fred's mother is just horrible. She doesn't take good care of him, she basically tells her son who has mental brain damage that he's crazy, she acts like she's drunk, and she talks to Fred like she wants to try something inappropriate with him.. okay, I'm gonna drop it there.
The next character I'm going to talk about is Fred's best friend Berths played by Danielle Monet who's known for her role of Trina Vega on Victorious, I honestly like her character. I think she's a good friend to Fred, and she might be the most sane character in the movie. I like that she wears pretty cool and creative outfits.
Now, let's talk about Fred.. oh, my god, Fred never stops talking, and he even sings at one part of the movie, and he constantly talks into the camera. He consistently has these crazy over-the-top fantasies. If Fred's voice doesn't cause you a nervous breakdown, then so many things about his character will.
Fred also had a dad who lives in the fridge and he just comes at random times out of nowhere. I can't tell if he's real or part of Fred's fantasy. Oh, wait, he's an imaginary dad.
Okay, this movie is literally insulting people who are severely mentally ill or handicapped. I mean, there are people who deal with these problems in real life and I think this movie is going to offend them.
So, with all that is this one of the worst movies out there. Well, actually I don't think I would. To be honest, while it is indeed a bad movie, I feel ashamed to admit it,but it's one of those movies that might be worth one watch just to see how bad it really is.
I mean some of the parts with Fred acting like an idiot, his fantasy sequences and other parts honestly did make me laugh hard at how stupid they were.
I also did enjoy Daniela Monet as she played a pretty fun, likable character. Can't go wrong with her. She has indeed been a good actress for Nickelodeon.
However, most of this movie has a plot that just goes nowhere and in the end of the movie it just leaves viewers confused.
Fred gets extremely annoying and it's a wonder how there actually are people that tolerate his voice.
This was definitely a bad movie. I don't know which people consider worse the Fred movies or the live action FOP movies with Drake Bell as Timmy Turner. I might review one of those movies in the future.

The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water Review
I'm finally doing another movie review. Today is going to be a review on the second Spongebob movie that came out last year. The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water.
he creator of Spongebob Stephen Hillenburg made his comeback to write the story for this film and it really shows Hillenburg at his best. This is not only better then the first Spongebob movie, but I honestly like it better then anything else in the Spongebob franchise. It's that good.
there's a number of things going on in this film, a Piret named Burger Beard uses a story book to steal the Krabby Patty formula.
everyone in Bikini Bottom goes crazy and Plankton is accused of the crime and when Spongebob helps him, it results in a buddy comedy between the two.
For the first thing I love about the movie is the quality of the animation. It's a really nice mixing of the current animation of the show and the first film and it's always stunning to look at.
I also love how there allot of callbacks to early Spongebob episodes. Plankton and Spongebob teamed up and start a friendship like they did in "F.U.N" Spongebob is seen with a reef blower from one of the first episodes, we even see Bubble Bass from "Pickles" make an appearance. The movie is loaded with tons of fun moments that feel very nostalgic and feels like it could have been made during the first 3 seasons.
I like this film better then the first movie, while the first one was good, I feel this movie was much more of what you would expect from a Spongebob movie Don't get me wrong, the first movie did a great job turning Spongebob into a big epic and emotional adventure, but keep in mind Spongebob was never about that kind of stuff. This movie however takes all the nautical nonsense and wavy fun of the show and puts it to the extreme.
This also is a multi media film. It uses CGI when the characters go on land to face Burger Beard, there a character Bubbles who is stop motion, and most of the film is in 2D animation which it's fantastic to see a traditional animated film again. However, trailers of this movie were misleading and audience thought that this would be a CGI film, and I'm glad it ended up surprising me and allot of others.
I think that's all I have to say for this review. Overall I definitely recommend this movie, if you're a Spongebob fan or if you grew up with Spongebob in your childhood or even if you're not really a Spongebob fan and if you're in the mood for a colorful, fun animated movie this is definitely worth a watch.
I do have to say however, I'm surprised this movie has hardly gotten any award nomination, I mean I know it was nominated for Favorite Animated Movie at the Kids Choice Awards, but that's it though.
I'm glad this movie was a success and I look forward to the third Spongebob film, and I hope the success of this movie will lead to more 2D animated theatrical movies based on TV shows. I know we're getting an Adventure Time movie and I'm really excited for that.
