Fred 2: Night Of The Living Fred Review
Okay, time for another review, and I sure do have allot to say about this TV movie. You see, when Fred become the biggest internet star, which is probably the biggest mystery, Nickelodeon just had to bring him to the network in hopes it would boost their ratings. , Fred made an appearance on ICarly, then he got three movies and a tv series.
Well, I haven't seen the first Fred movie, but I saw this on Nicktoons Network The other day, and let's say it blew my mind by how bad it really was.
The basic start of the movie begins when Fred finds out his favorite teacher has been replaced by some weird ass man Mr. Delvin.
There is also a girl who likes Fred in the movie and he thinks she is stalking him. Talia her name is.
Fred and his mother get invited to a party at the teacher's house, and Fred start to suspect he's a vampire.
To talk a little about the characters, Fred's mother is just horrible. She doesn't take good care of him, she basically tells her son who has mental brain damage that he's crazy, she acts like she's drunk, and she talks to Fred like she wants to try something inappropriate with him.. okay, I'm gonna drop it there.
The next character I'm going to talk about is Fred's best friend Berths played by Danielle Monet who's known for her role of Trina Vega on Victorious, I honestly like her character. I think she's a good friend to Fred, and she might be the most sane character in the movie. I like that she wears pretty cool and creative outfits.
Now, let's talk about Fred.. oh, my god, Fred never stops talking, and he even sings at one part of the movie, and he constantly talks into the camera. He consistently has these crazy over-the-top fantasies. If Fred's voice doesn't cause you a nervous breakdown, then so many things about his character will.
Fred also had a dad who lives in the fridge and he just comes at random times out of nowhere. I can't tell if he's real or part of Fred's fantasy. Oh, wait, he's an imaginary dad.
Okay, this movie is literally insulting people who are severely mentally ill or handicapped. I mean, there are people who deal with these problems in real life and I think this movie is going to offend them.
So, with all that is this one of the worst movies out there. Well, actually I don't think I would. To be honest, while it is indeed a bad movie, I feel ashamed to admit it,but it's one of those movies that might be worth one watch just to see how bad it really is.
I mean some of the parts with Fred acting like an idiot, his fantasy sequences and other parts honestly did make me laugh hard at how stupid they were.
I also did enjoy Daniela Monet as she played a pretty fun, likable character. Can't go wrong with her. She has indeed been a good actress for Nickelodeon.
However, most of this movie has a plot that just goes nowhere and in the end of the movie it just leaves viewers confused.
Fred gets extremely annoying and it's a wonder how there actually are people that tolerate his voice.
This was definitely a bad movie. I don't know which people consider worse the Fred movies or the live action FOP movies with Drake Bell as Timmy Turner. I might review one of those movies in the future.
